Feel tough to get a chance in such a fast number (Note for N: Not just plain reproduction of lead voice's raaga)

And the male voice is pure, sublime and all the likes (adhi suthamaana kural). One of the chorus voices reminds me of Balamurali Krishna (who will render a slightly deep version of many notes with some special effects :) ).

Dhirana naana, dhira dhira naana
Dhirana naa, Dhiranaaaa

At some points u feel is it a fusion of both hindustani and carnatic and end up feeling its definitely carnatic, with some minor hindustani improvisations (and yeah, sequenced on modern instruments)

Saa nee ree saa, Nee ree garee saa
Saa nee ree saa, paaa ma ree nee saa

And towards the end, there's a high pitch alaapana by the lead male singer - what an amazing variation (what do they call? guess gesticulate) at a very fast tempo.

And it ENDS with that same fast tempo.

Please hear it only on earphones - there are some good mixing fundas well-incorporated for some improvisation. For even better results, try closing your eyes and leaning back on your chair.

Presenting budding Sabesh-Murali for a musical number in Thavamai Thavamirundhu - Hats off!! I'm hoping its unabridged, if so it's just excellent for a film composition.
It's called Theme Music (available in coolgoose here)

I've been hearing this many times for two or three weeks in a row and haven't yet got tired of it. (Have become an addict)
After a long time, feel this is what's the best, a piece of MUSIC can do.

Of course, the music is played as background for one of the best-portrayed scenes of the movie - when the hero and his parents move to city for a better livelihood, after a long period of dull, guilty, lonely, unenthusiastic life.
This piece is little short for the number of positive changes encountered by the family, but brings the proper effect of showing the family's economic growth without too much dragging.

Its rhythm and vibrance will definitely cling on to you and make you hear it repetitively. Will definitely change your mood (guess freshen you) every time you hear it.

Some music makes you look for varieties and you start looking for more similar music, some provides lot in itself that would make you feel THIS IS IT.
<img width='1' height='1' They could clap, dance a little, dive from various heights, pick up balls u throw, understand variety of human orders like choosing the right football card from a pack of cards with images of various balls. As the crowd's voice grow, they could clap fast. Though the entire show was in korean, I could understand little what the trainers spoke (though not much better than the stallions)
The crowd was extremely lively.. We are always proud at such things, aren't we??

Then went straight to 2 much-hyped rides. One was called Double-X train, n the other Double Rock Spin. Double - X Train was terrific, it takes you slowly till certain height, takes a turn, comes down fast on another plane and makes two 0s (rather two X - twice you sit against gravity), one more turn n you are back at where you started. People usually survive by screaming out real loud or by closing their eyes. I'm not sure why, but chose option 2. I've not been to any of such rides before, and at the end of this one, felt world swirling around me.. They also showed pictures of everyone how they reacted when the train made the first 0 (or X), n yeah, i really had my eyes wide shut.

Immediately I took the second one - Rock spin. This was too much hyped by my colleagues. When I saw, it did not look bad because they put some fancy guitar n keyboard shaped boards around it. It had a huge rectangular frame with the 2 midpoints of length mounted onto a fixed frame. People sit across the breadth of it (only 1 end). It will take you up (slowly as you expect it), then drop you straight down and swing twice(here's the actual spin) like a pendulum. Stop, and again start (little faster now), take you up, drop you, spin again. Here again, I chose option 2 to survive. But this was extremely horrible because of the spin. When I was sitting there, I could hear myself saying F*@K repeatedly till I got down. And when I was out of it, saying "is this really fun" ??
I temporarily vowed myself not to take any of such rides again, had a coffee (hoping to get back to reality) and left that place.

The worst was over.

Then took few junk rides (after taking above 2, all others were insignificant) - a water ride (circular dinghy that can hold 6 ppl), a ride called mystery mansion (though this was for kids), usual space mania (where they shake ur chairs n show some stupid space video), bumping car.
A jungle safari whose hosts were few groaning lions, sleeping tigers, hungry bears in one small island, n some giraffes, deers n elephants on the other. The wild ones looked too fed up with trying to pose for buses all day. Note - I could see a Lion's mouth with my mouth 1 feet away from it.
One notable junk ride was 'Global Village' where they had huge rooms filled with thousands of dolls (navrathri golu). Dolls in each room depicted a country's culture (note: only developed n developing nations were present). Yeah, India was depicted with dolls of Kings on elephants and snake charmers. This was a pretty long ride n was really worth, the Decor was too good..

Then Super Bobsleige - where u can sit on a metal plank n ski... first, i was afraid if i would lose control n topple over when i make turns, since plane looked too steep. when i actually sat, it was too cool. breaks were good n u have very good control.

At 8, Parade started. Whole place was lit off n huge chariots illuminated with different themes went around on the roads (sort of evolution kinds.. some viruses, then flowers, trees, then fishes n finally humans). Took around 1 hour.

Around 9, thousands of ppl sat for the Laser show(or should i call it fire show!!) - Some korean story (yeah, good n evil) was being staged on a european(!!) amphitheatre. They had a huge dragon (more than 50 feet) n fire coming out of its mouth. n then bombs of fire would explode near the puny hero.. then our hero would send lightning n cause water fountains of great heights. finally the dragon gets destroyed in the battle n our hero puts enthu with our heroine which triggers the crackler show..
My god.. so many varieties of cracklers (rockets).. it took around 15 mins. it was amazing to watch amidst the highly enthusiastic mob.

I couldn't get a vegetarian burger when I really wanted it (burgers looked so tempting n i was hungry too). N finally when I asked for the way to the exit, I was shown the way to the restroom.

A Day for 30$. Back to Room, Sweet Room.
Reality well told

Amidst the mundane pursuits
of exploration, witnessed
wells of depth, not well placed
whose interconnects paved the path

for sinking with unyielding pride
clouded by scrambled figments
of psychic frames of information
got by circumnavigating wells

inside, toads leapt forward to get heard
told their vast realities to convince
their foes hanging on ropes
welcome so far, beauty lies still beneath.

boasting his rope skills well above, the master
stood unscathed, seen good wells in good will
proactive, swift motions kept toads away
from well-trained pet foes.

many realities faded with each new well,
versions of reality told by humpty toads
filled the gaps, nothing was real
for the foes, who heard a lot.

toads were often proud, of blueness
they could see, on different heights,
where foes came from,
to delude their visions of height.

foes held high their rope,
insisted on longer ones on every jump
depth marked their wealth
number of familiar toads in well, as well.

some masters looked more tranquil
they knew progress is a fake word,
well-built for rope makers and foes,
for serenity was all they had, to offer.

some pensive foes didn't submit
misguiding realities caused havoc,
but being a toad might give them a version,
not being one, put them in vacuum.
The Road To Freedom

Something banged me with the most vivid illustrations of my own India from few foreign minds.
It was 'Freedom @ Midnight', the book that engulfed me for past few days.

The men behind the book were one of the most meticulous people, spent their life looking for facts to the minute detail, for any mistake would be seen as a mockery( they being foreign)

I've so much liked this book, that I think any amount of effort I put in analysis would just hit me back on my face, and moreover it's almost reproduced "reality" in my eyes, scrutinizing which would be really bad.

I was fortunate enough to walk down the road to freedom (visuals) and get some glimpses of what the word 'Mahatma' meant and what it means to be a Mahatma.

His weapons were the most simple things - civil disobedience and FASTing, both of which humans learn before their 5th birthday.

Disobedience starts with a child when he attempts to force his parents to give what he wants, and FASTing is just a manifestation.
Every human would have done all those being a kid, and as he grew up, discarded them as immature actions of his own in order to attain a so-called "better morality".

Atleast, many parents show their kids how not to be adamant, n mould them out of it. Very few succeed in teaching their children that even that nature could be used as a weapon (and most importantly, show them where to use it), as used by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

He's now become a massive Avatar in my eyes, similar to Krishna in Kurukshetra.

One more man who grew to an apotheosis in my eyes - Lord Mountbatten. I had never expected such an attitude from an Englishman, and that too during the last few years of a stenching era of revolution, hatred, vengeance and all the likes.
Think administration came to him like breathing.. The accounts of the last riots of Punjab will talk for itself (the way he took it into his control even after his transition of responsibilites to Nehru).

He's certainly the last gem that India lost forever.

Speaking of gems, I've often pondered over one thing (like all Indians).
Did we lose lot of things to the British hands during their rule ? or Were our gains more?

Maybe years of persistent research could shed me some light..

Silence must be heard

Paused blogging
For a long period..................
Long Periods can be in poems too
and, not every poem is periodic

Silent companies are crazy
They work your time
to reduce their time
for balancing their unworked time

Silent groups are crazier
You organize things better to beat them by a time
when they bet you by the time
you took in learning to organize better

Silent persons are craziest
You waste time speaking while they think,
and force you to think twice
when they speak.

Jumpin to another Religion

I was discussing with my dad about christian missionaries, the way people are pulled into a set of beliefs, ideals via money pouring from abroad.
Some Hindu fundamentalists had called for a "peaceful" protest to create some hype, last friday, and so we had 2.5 days weekend.
Poor people realize money as christ for a better livelihood, though not to be blamed.

Even I've to carry upon the names of multinational corporations with me 24 * 7. I've to keep in mind their values, what they respect most, etc.. Isn't that a new religion to me?
Almost every one here have to adapt to any one of the corporate religions. type='text'>On the Mirror

He was startled.
The 2 vestigeal teeth had grown sharp. He didn't really detest them. But a specific sound laugh will bring down his looks. It reminded him of dracula men seen in movies, which were supposedly made to break a person's fear factor.

Those are the worst parasites, he thought!! Does nothing good but consumes probably the best nutrition to grow themselves.

He widened his mouth, to see 2 more of them displaced on the bottom row. They were pushed front, due to unavailability of sufficient space.
His upper lips resembled a bow, and the lower one fitted exactly to hold it from falling. But both were of the right size.

Mouth Shut.

He pulled his ear vertically, to see how it reacted. They turned red as usual. Not a good sign, he thought. They were big enough, but with normal slopy curves, probably made to hear every pin drop. But poor him, he never listened anyone completely.

The most prominent feature was his sharp, big eyes which seemed to dwelve into anyone's eyes (if he made a contact). His vision was focussed and narrow. Need to broaden it a little, he thought. His eyeballs were the last placed organ in his body. The eye socket was not too deep, and it added to the protrusion. He took care in not opening his eyes too wide (not wide shut as well)
He stared at his eye brows, which he had shaved once thinking that he had to shave everything on face. It has grown thick because of that act.

His nose was twisted. He had been trying to make it straight for years, but in vain.
When he was a child, he had slept with one side of the nose pressed against the floor. Nostrils were slightly bigger than usual. He often touched his nostrils to make sure they were intact, whenever he had nothing to say in a group. His father's genes got it to him.

He had grown a moustache bordering his bow. It made a good parabola, but was not dense. It reminded him of growing stems of trees planted at regular intervals. It curved on either sides of the bow and just touched the lower lip.

Some spots of dark black seemed to have been sparayed on his chin. He didn't quite like it. It made him shave every alternate weeks.

His dark black hair just fitted his top, with feeble strength to stand by itself. He rested them neatly on his scalp, with more directed towards his right.

His neck had grown with little more flesh than required and caught the chin. It seemed to sag a little when he had his head bent down.

More to come
